Luke Marion

Managing Director

Luke Marion is Managing Director of Go Thames Valley, responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the business, including network development, resource management, and partnerships with local stakeholders and businesses across the Thames Valley.

Born in Swindon, Luke qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 2005 before joining Oxford Bus Company as Finance Director in 2012. He became Finance & Commercial Director in 2014 and was appointed Managing Director in 2022. Having spent his career in the region, Luke is passionate about supporting the Thames Valley’s continued growth. He believes the area’s unique combination of world-leading businesses, universities, heritage and natural beauty positions it as one of the UK’s most dynamic regions.

Looking ahead, Luke sees the move to a mayoral authority as a significant opportunity to accelerate sustainable growth, improve connectivity, and enhance quality of life across the region. He is a strong advocate for the role that buses and coaches can play in delivering this vision and ensuring communities remain connected as the Thames Valley continues to grow.

Neil Butler

Finance director

Neil Butler is Finance Director for Go Thames Valley, responsible for the company’s financial performance and long-term financial sustainability. He oversees budgeting, business case development, financial analysis, reporting, payroll and resource management, ensuring the business remains well-controlled and positioned for future growth. Neil is supported by a team of 15 people covering accounting, finance operations, reporting and payroll, alongside responsibility for insurance claims and associated CCTV footage.

A Chartered Accountant who qualified with KPMG, Neil joined the business in 2023 following senior finance roles across both large PLCs and private equity-backed organisations. He brings a wealth of commercial and financial expertise and enjoys applying insights gained from a range of industries to support continuous improvement and sustainable growth. Neil is motivated by being part of an organisation that makes a tangible difference to local communities through essential transport services while also creating diverse and rewarding career opportunities for its people.

Glenn De Sousa

Commercial Director

Glenn De Sousa is Commercial Director for Go Thames Valley, responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s commercial strategy. His remit includes network planning, scheduling, fares and ticketing, commercial reporting, marketing, publicity and business development, ensuring the business continues to respond to changing travel patterns and the needs of customers, partners and local communities.

Having first joined Oxford Bus Company as a placement student whilst studying Transport Management at Aston University, Glenn progressed through a series of operational and commercial roles to Head of Commercial before being promoted to Commercial Director three years later in 2026, continuing to support the development of Go Thames Valley. He is passionate about developing commercially sustainable, customer-focused transport networks and is excited about the opportunities for growth throughout the Thames Valley region.

Tom Large

Engineering Director

Tom Large is the Engineering Director for Go Thames Valley with responsibility for the company’s fleet and property portfolio. He leads the engineering teams across the business, overseeing training and development, fleet performance and the delivery of facility improvements, including the company’s electrification programme.

Having graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008, Tom brings more than 15 years of management and leadership experience within the bus and coach industry. His career has spanned three major bus and coach operating groups, providing him with extensive experience covering a large variety or vehicle types and operating environments.

Looking to the future, Tom is passionate about ensuring Go Thames Valley continues to deliver high-quality, sustainable transport services. He is committed to maximising synergies across the wider group while preserving the distinct character and strengths of each of its unique local brands.

Shaun Ritchie

Operations Director

Shaun Ritchie is Operations Director for Go Thames Valley, responsible for operational performance across all of the company’s depots. His remit includes day-to-day service delivery, operational compliance, resource management and supporting operational teams across the group.

Having originally started his career as a bus driver at Go North East, Shaun has progressed through a variety of operational roles before being promoted from Head of Operations to Operations Director. He is passionate about delivering safe, reliable and customer-focused services, supporting colleagues across the business and ensuring Go Thames Valley continues to strengthen operational excellence across its family of local transport brands.

Chris Reeves

Commercial Development Manager

Chris Reeves is Commercial Development Manager for Go Thames Valley, where he is responsible for retail strategy and delivery, B2B commercial activities, and leading analytics and insight across the business. With more than 13 years of industry experience, Chris has developed extensive expertise in multi-operator ticketing programmes, onboard bus systems, and data analysis.

Looking to the future, Chris remains focused on delivering industry-leading ticketing solutions that help customers and employers move seamlessly across the Thames Valley.

Marta Hilton

Marketing & Communications Manager

Marta Hilton is Marketing & Communications Manager for Go Thames Valley and is responsible for leading marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement across Go Thames Valley’s family of transport brands. Having worked within the business since 2015, she brings experience in marketing strategy, public relations, customer communications and community engagement.

Marta is passionate about helping people discover the benefits of public transport and is excited about the opportunities Go Thames Valley creates to strengthen connections between communities across the region.

Karen Coventry

Marketing & Communications Manager

Karen Coventry is Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) for Go Thames Valley, leading marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement across the company’s portfolio. With over 24 years of experience in marketing and public relations, 12 of which were within the Thames Valley, she has a proven track record of building strong brands, delivering engaging customer campaigns and creating meaningful connections with communities and stakeholders. Karen is passionate about helping more people discover the benefits of public transport and plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of the business.

Kirsty Harker

Private Hire & Office Manager – Pulhams

Kirsty Harker is the Private Hire & Office Manager at Pulhams, responsible for private hire, touring work, school transport customer services and client relationships across our coaching activities.

With a background in hospitality and client liaison roles prior to joining Pulhams, Kirsty brings a strong customer focus to the business, working with our operations teams to deliver an excellent experience for every hire and tour.

Andy Morison

Head of Customer Experience & Digital

Andy Morison is Head of Digital & Customer Experience at Go Thames Valley. With more than 17 years of experience in the industry, he is responsible for the company’s customer-facing technology, including ticket machines, onboard information systems, WiFi, mobile apps and websites.

Andy also leads the Customer Services team based at Cowley House and customer teams at the Retail and Tourism teams in Oxford City centre, overseeing customer enquiries across social media, web, email and telephone channels and retail sales. Passionate about both customer experience and technology, he serves as the company’s Data Protection lead, ensuring the responsible management of customer and business data.

Andy values the strength of Go Thames Valley’s management team and its commitment to continuous improvement. He is excited about the company’s ongoing growth and the opportunities it brings to further enhance the services provided to customers. Above all, he believes the organisation’s success is driven by its people and considers himself fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated and talented team.

Clarisse Garcia

Retail & Tourism Manager

Clarisse Garcia is Retail & Tourism Manager for Go Thames Valley, responsible for leading the company’s retail and tourism activity across the Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel, Carousel Buses and City Sightseeing Oxford brands. Her remit includes overseeing the Retail Travel Shops, Visitor Information Point activity, ticket-selling teams, tourism partnerships, customer-facing retail activity and commercial opportunities linked to City Sightseeing Oxford.

Clarisse works closely with marketing, customer experience and operational colleagues to support tourism products, combined ticket offers, accessibility improvements and customer information across the business. She is passionate about delivering a welcoming, high-quality experience for visitors and local customers, while supporting the continued growth of the company’s retail and tourism offer.

Kamini Patel

Retail & Tourism Manager

Kamini Patel is Retail & Tourism Manager for Go Thames Valley on secondment, covering Clarisse Garcia’s maternity leave. She is responsible for leading the Retail Travel Shops and tourism teams during this period, supporting day-to-day retail operations, ticket-selling teams, tourism products, customer-facing activity and City Sightseeing Oxford partnerships.

Having joined City Sightseeing Oxford in 2015 before moving into the Travel Shop team in 2019, Kamini brings strong experience across both tourism and retail. She was appointed Retail & Tourism Supervisor in 2022 and has since built detailed knowledge of the business, its customers and its visitor-facing activity.

In her current seconded role, Kamini is focused on maintaining continuity for the team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping deliver a high-quality experience for customers and visitors.

Pawel Polewski

Operations Manager – Oxford Bus

Pawel Polewski is Operations Manager for Oxford Bus Company, based at Cowley House and responsible for day-to-day operational performance across the Oxford Bus network. His remit includes service delivery, operational planning, resource coordination, driver and supervisor support, incident and diversion management, and ensuring services are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently for customers.

Pawel works closely with the wider operations, engineering, customer services, commercial and marketing teams to manage events, service changes, recruitment activity and customer information requirements across the Oxford network. He is focused on supporting colleagues, maintaining high operational standards and delivering dependable services for the communities served by Oxford Bus Company.

Marta Wodzinska

Operations Manager – Thames Travel

Marta Wodzinska is Operations Manager for Thames Travel on secondment, based at Didcot and responsible for supporting day-to-day operational performance across the Thames Travel network. Her remit includes service delivery, operational compliance, resource coordination, depot activity, colleague support and helping ensure services are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently for customers.

Marta works closely with operations, engineering, customer services, commercial and marketing colleagues to support service changes, customer information, recruitment activity and wider operational requirements across the Thames Travel network.

In her seconded role, she is focused on maintaining continuity, supporting colleagues and helping deliver dependable local bus services for the communities served by Thames Travel.

Jose Rubio Reyes

Operations Manager – Carousel

Jose Rubio Reyes is the Operations Manager at Carousel Buses, responsible for operational performance from our High Wycombe depot, with a network spanning across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, plus the surrounding surrounding counties of Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Greater London. He oversees operational and legal compliance, resource management, service efficiency and initiatives to enhance the customer experience.

With more than 10 years of experience across a variety of operational roles within Go Thames Valley, alongside secondments in Service Delivery and Risk & Compliance, Jose has developed a broad range of expertise within the bus industry. He is passionate about developing high-performing teams, improving service reliability, and delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operations.

Looking to the future, Jose is committed to growing a high-quality, customer-focused bus network while embracing innovation to enhance reliability, safety and sustainability for the communities Carousel Buses serves.

Val Connor

Interim Operations Manager – Pulhams BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER

Val Connor is the Interim Operations Manager at Pulhams’ Bourton-on-the-Water depot, where she oversees daily operations, manages resources and helps deliver a safe, reliable and efficient service. Having joined Oxford Bus Company as a PCV driver in 2015, Valentina progressed to Assistant Operations Manager at Oxford Bus Company in 2018 before being recently seconded to Pulhams in 2026.

With extensive experience leading teams and managing people, Valentia combines her practical operational knowledge with a Level 5 Diploma in Operational Management and a strong passion for colleague wellbeing. She is committed to developing high-performing teams and ensuring the smooth operation of Pulhams’ coach and private hire in 2026. 

Valentina is excited about the future of Go Thames Valley and the opportunities created by bringing all operating companies together under a shared vision, common values and collective goals.

Matty Davis

Area Engineering Manager – Oxford Bus, Thames Travel & Carousel

Matty Davis is Area Engineering Manager for Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel and Carousel. Having joined the industry as an apprentice with Stagecoach at the age of 16 and joined Oxford Bus Company in 2019, Matty is responsible for the company’s compliance and performance of our engineering departments. Matty’s focus is on providing safe and reliable vehicles for our customers and draws on his experience to date having worked as apprentice, engineer, supervisor and engineering manager.

Peter Graybrook

Area Engineering Manager – Pulhams

Peter Graybrook is Area Engineering Manager for Pulhams. Having started his career as an apprentice at Crosville Motor Services and spent more than 30 years with Crosville, Midland Red and Arriva, Peter brings extensive engineering experience to the role. He joined Pulhams from within Go-Ahead, having previously worked as Engineering Manager at Go North West and Head of Engineering at Go East Anglia. Peter is responsible for vehicle compliance, workshop readiness and supporting the safe, reliable operation of Pulhams’ growing bus and coach fleet.

Nick Small

Head of Built Environment & Infrastructure

Nick Small is the Head of Built Environment and Infrastructure at Go Thames Valley responsible for external relationships with both developers and local authorities who are looking to develop or make changes to the “bricks and mortar” world in which we operate. After 10 years working for major bus operators Nick brings his extensive knowledge and experience to advise and challenge multiple stakeholders at every stage of planning and policy development, setting up strategies for places to be as “bus friendly” as possible.

The processes to see this through to construction can take many years. The role demands immense attention to detail, substantial legal and regulatory knowledge, and the ability to talk to other professional in their technical language.

Sam Shepherd

Financial Controller

Sam Shepherd is Financial Controller for Go Thames Valley, supporting the financial management of Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel, Carousel Buses, Pulhams Coaches and City Sightseeing Oxford. She plays a key role in finance operations, reporting, payroll, accounts payable processes, business controls and supporting colleagues with financial systems and approvals. Sam also helps drive consistency across the finance function as the business continues to grow and integrate its operating companies.

The Head of People role is currently vacant and will be responsible for leading the people strategy across Go Thames Valley. The role will oversee HR, colleague engagement, employee relations, learning and development, recruitment support and the continued development of an inclusive, supportive workplace culture. This role will play an important part in helping the business attract, retain and develop colleagues across all operating companies.

Jake Edwards

Recruitment Partner

Jake Edwards is Recruitment Partner for Go Thames Valley, based at Cowley House and working as part of the HR team. He supports recruitment activity across the business, helping attract new colleagues into driving, engineering, customer-facing and support roles. Jake works closely with managers across Go Thames Valley to support vacancies, recruitment campaigns and candidate experience, helping ensure the business has the people it needs to deliver safe, reliable and welcoming services.
